Mobile devices and chair massage in Maryland
The temperature outside is already hitting the highs as of late. If you’re like me and live in Maryland, we’re experiencing some pretty wild highs in the high 90’s even reaching 100 on certain days. During this time, it’s important to not only take care of yourself and stay hydrated throughout the day but also your electronics. Electronics can actually slowly get worse over time if we don’t properly care for them. I’ve researched a few tips to help you keep your phone performing at full functionality. Ideas to keep your mobile device functioning so you can schedule your chair massage event!
Keep it out of your pocket
When in a hurry, the most common thing to do when taking your phone outside is to slip it into your pocket. While convenient, your natural body heat is actually working against keeping your phone cool. This allows your phone to get trapped in a high-heat area until you take it out. Not only is this bad for the internals of the phone, but excessive heat could lead to a leaking battery or even cause it to explode.
Airplane mode
When you’re outside in the heat, it might be best to just let your device sit in the shade in Airplane mode. This prevents your phone from receiving cellular signals and Wi-Fi signals, which will help cool your device down since it has to work less to operate. Be warned, however, this prevents you from making and receiving calls as well as connecting to the internet. This is a good option to use when you don’t particularly need to use your device and can focus on other work.
Charging
According to many different sources, the ideal battery percentage is 40%-80%. This is the best percentage for your phone to be in, keeping your battery in this range will expand its usage in the long run, however, this is impossible for most of us. It’s okay to use your battery outside of these ranges, and for many of us, we have to. We can also keep a few tips on our minds to let the charging process run smoothly. Never charge your phone in direct sunlight, as this can cause overheating and may lead to your battery catching on fire. Another tip is to never charge your phone under your pillow or in a case that traps heat.
When it comes to work, you never want to miss a call or not be able to send a text due to an overheating issue. Following these simple tips throughout the day will help make sure you never miss an important text or event and keep you in the loop. That’s one less thing that you have to stress and worry about.
