Fall is a very important season for businesses and local colleges. NOW that I have a junior in college, it’s all the more real.
This is around the time when students, as well as their professors, can become very stressed out and tired. Many seek stress relief during this time of year. Exam season usually starts in December, which means students and their educators are now realizing there are only 2 months away until the testing begins. These tests are very important and can make or break your grade for the courses you are taking. Teachers also want you to do well because the district will be looking at how well they prepared their class for the material contained in the final. I have a few tips for educators as well as students during this cram session that many of them will undergo within the upcoming weeks.
Don’t wait till the last moment
While it is nearly impossible to prevent all studying right before final exams, there are a few small things you can do to make it a bit smoother. Study guides are sometimes given by teachers to their students to help them get a good grades on a test. Those study guides are actually also very helpful for the final. Getting a binder is a good step in the right direction for helping keep all of your study materials together when the time comes for the finals. Keep tabs for each class and keep all your study guides as well as your tests and quizzes for the class in the sections. Being able to see what you didn’t do so well on is good so that you can study those specific aspects more in-depth, preventing you from missing them again.
Educators also help out with this one a little bit. Many of today’s programs used for testing will be electronic and online. They show you the questions you missed and you are able to see them. If you have any questions about how to get the answer or why yours was not right, your professor will more than likely help you out with those. Just remember, as a student, your professors may want you to be able to find the answers on your own rather than asking them.
Wellness
Once you have found a good organizational method that helps you keep your materials in one place, it’s time to focus on your personal wellness and relaxation. Many colleges offer programs that are there for you to use including mobile chair massage. These are known as wellness programs and they are a wide variety of different activities for you to do. Fitness centers, pools, and trails may be available on campus to help out with physical stress. Activity generally decreases the stress in your body and can help keep your energy levels more stable. It is also important to sit back and relax sometimes too. Libraries and quiet places to clear your mind might be on campus to help you get some time to yourself.
Chair massage companies specialize in these types of offerings. Corporate Massage Kneads can offer a turn-key program that is easy to schedule and allows for great results. We will come and work with students and educators to help eliminate that exam stress. Schedule your wellness programs NOW.
Mobile chair massage, chair yoga, and other wellness programs enhance productivity throughout the day and week. The benefits of mobile chair massage are many including increased productivity, improved mental acuity, decreased stress, decreased absenteeism due to stress-related illnesses along with fewer aches and pains from prolonged sitting.
My local client was thrilled with his experience last week. Wouldn’t you to enjoy the same results? See other testimonials here!

“I carry a lot of tension in my back and shoulders… In just a short amount of time, Janet is able to get out all the “kinks.” It really does make a world of difference to me. Also, based on what’s bothering me the most at the time of my visit, Janet is able to customize the therapy for my back, neck, or shoulder issues with the right amount of pressure to alleviate the tension and discomfort. Thanks as always!”
